The following (real) prizes will be awarded:-
- Bench Makunouchi Yusho winner
- Bench Juryo Yusho winner
- Technique Prize winner
- Fighting Spirit Prize winner
- Outstanding Performance Prize winner
- Nekonishiki's special Nakabi prize winner
- No Cigar Prize
- Yaocho Bum Award
With the exception of Nekonishiki's special Nakabi prize (which Nekonishiki kindly supplies), the previous winner of any prize is asked to supply the prize for the equivalent award for the following tournament. Although a sumo related prize is always nice, it does not have to be the case. A souvenir from your home country / state would be equally suitable as a prize (for example a T-shirt).
